we have sold many Ford replicas in 15 years, but never one as nice as this car. this is not a kit car at all,but a factory built replica, that was only sold through Ford dealers, from 1979-1982, & quickly sold out. they are an exact duplicate of the 1929 Model A Ford, but instead of a 40 HP engine, these have all brand new 2.3 liter Ford engines, that produce 88 hp, so they are actually quite peppy, & keep up with any highway traffic, & get as much as 33 MPG on the highway, this one is a 1980 & titled as a 1980 Ford, with a 4 speed transmission, am/fm/stereo with cassette player, flip out rumble seat, with steps on the fender, nice red body with black fenders, beautiful wide white 18" tires 5.50 x18, & has the chrome wire wheels, dual side mounted spare tires twin AAAAooooogahhh horns, dual side cowl lamps, luggage rack with rear mounted trunk, wind deflectors, 4 piece metal front hood, folds in 2 like the originals, front disc brakes, rack & pinion steering, quail hood ornament & Ford radiator shell emblem, spare tire mirror, dual antique wiper motors, 2 iece bumpers, running boards with Ford step plates, full convertible top & all side curtains, flip forward windshield--that's the a/c haha. this is a daily driver that can be driven anywhere, with no problem at all, & will run circles around the original Model A Fords. body is fiberglass that will never rust & the car has a 10.5 gallon gas tank, for good cruising distance, & is just over 1850 pounds, 67 1/2" high, 154" long, 103.5" wheelbase, & the same 56" tracking as an original.  return to Bob's Classics, Inc. or What's In Stock.
